Hello my wonderful friends!
December is here, and this Saturday is my 4 month mark. Yes you read that right, 4 MONTHS! It really and truly feels like I was just sitting at home with my great family. And I am not just saying that, time is really flying by!
This week was interesting to say the least. Unfortunately I was real sick for two whole days, so my companion and I couldn't go out and work! It was really hard, but we filled all our free time with church movies and discussing this wonderful gospel! I am so glad my comp is an amazing human being that I get along so well with, otherwise my sick days would have been horrible! But she made them fun!
Most of our energies are focused on getting a baptismal date for Aaron and Morgana this week. They have been coming to church, and they have even been reading and praying together as a family every night! They have been seeing so many blessings from it! They have had tons of little miracles happen for them, and that really testifies of the truth of the gospel. As we do what we are asked, Heavenly Father will bless us! That is an eternal truth that can never be changed. So keep following the commandment, and the Lord will bless you more than you would ever expect. I promise ya!:)
We have seen lots of members in the ward get excited for missionary work this time of year! It is a perfect time to share the gospel, because many people are searching for the real reason for Christmas! The new website christmas.mormon.org is truly a great tool, and it makes it so easy to spread the good news of the gospel. It is a great opportunity, do not let it pass you by!
Yesterday, the church broadcasted a wonderful Christmas devotional! It was filled with wonderful music, and messages about our dear Savior's birth. My favorite message, was shared by Elder Clayton. he talked about how the message the angel delivered to the shepherds is so important to us all. The angel said: "Fear not!". Because of Christ's birth, we can dispel all the fear in our lives. He can give us hope that eradicates all uneasiness and worry in this life. Because of Him, fear can never have power over us.
Have a great week everyone!!
